Scholarships
The scholarships offered are external resources that have been gathered by the Resource committee of the Scholars program. Everyone, regardless if they are a part of the program, are welcome to apply to the scholarships provided on this page. The scholarships are periodically updated to provide the best possible resources for everyone.
$2,000 PixelPlex Bi-Annual STEM Scholarship
Requirements:
- Citizen or a permanent resident of the United States
- At the date of the award, you must be enrolled (or accepted with plans to attend) in a college or university in the United States
- Your field of study is related to science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), economics, or business.
Deadline: December 5, 2020 at 11:59 PM PST
Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Coverage
Requirements:
- Must be of Hispanic heritage
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students
- Minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for undergraduate and graduate students
- Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2020-2021 academic year
- US Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
- Complete FAFSA or state-based financial aid application (if applicable)

Nikhil Desai "Perspective" Scholarship
Requirements:
- While not required, applicants who are first-generation Americans or first-generation college students will be preferred, but ultimately the winner will be chosen based on the quality of their essay.

2020 Academic Excellence Award
Requirement:
- School: must be enrolled in 4 year university or college during 2020-2021 academic year
- GPA: 3.0 or higher
- If under 18, permission to apply is required
Deadline: November 12, 2020
Creative Safety Supply Scholarship
Requirement:
- Citizen or resident of U.S.
- Enrolled in college, university, or vocational school
- 3.0 GPA and above
- Fill out application form on site
- Unofficial transcript showing GPA
- 2 essay questions

Inspirational Stories Scholarship
Requirements:
- Enrolled in college/university
- US citizen
Deadline: December 20, 2020
Helmer, Conley & Kasselman Annual College Scholarship
Requirements:
- currently enrolled in undergraduate program in US,
- intend to pursue law degree to practice law
Deadline: November 15, 2020
Nextiva Business Scholarship
Requirements:
- currently enrolled in col/uni/trade school,
- plan to major in business/STEAM,
- GPA 3.0> ,US /US colony resident
Deadline: November 30, 2020
Blankstyle Scholarship
Requirements:
- a high school senior that has been accepted to an accredited university or
- a current student enrolled in college courses.
Deadline: Through November 2020
ABC Fundraising Volunteer Scholarship
Requirements:
- undergrad/grads with consistent volunteer work
Deadline: June 30, Annually
FNSNA Scholarship
Requirements:
- Undergraduate scholarships are available to students currently enrolled in a state-approved nursing program leading to an associate degree, baccalaureate, diploma, direct-entry master’s degree, RN to BSN/MSN completion, LPN/LVN to RN, or accelerated programs. Funds are not available for graduate study unless it is for a first degree in nursing
- Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Alien with U.S. Permanent Resident Status or hold an Alien Registration Number.

What is the Scholars Program’s mission?
The Glendale Community College Scholars Program has been created to serve the needs of academically driven students, offering them opportunities for more intensive study. We strive to prepare students for the rigors of upper-division work, a lifetime of community-minded activities, and the development of social bonds.
